Working with Persona Builder

Let's get into Persona Builder.

In Akumina App Manager > Central Site > Management App Tab > Persona Builder

In Persona Builder you can create and manage Akumina Personas. Based on your organization's people data, such as Microsoft Entra ID. Your team can build Personas which are audiences/communities based upon shared properties. For example, if your Entra ID has a country property you could have a Persona for each country. With these country Personas you could create content and messages just for each country audience.

To check what People Properties you can utilize Edit Schema.

With Schema the Properties from the customer's data source such as Entra ID get pulled in from Akumina's people sync. For the fields to be visible to the Persona Builder the Visible column needs to be selected. Users have an option to change the display name of the field to make it more business friendly. Property type can also be adjusted to different field types. It is highly recommended to make your fields that you plan to use for Personas. The reason why is when you create a persona you have to enter in exact values for your queries to create your Persona. Selecting a property from a dropdown ensures you capture the value that you intend to use. If you keep property type field as text, you have to type the field exactly as it is in Entra ID. Once you have configured your Schema. hit Save & Exit.

Let's go create a Persona.
