Page Variations in Voice

Akumina Page Variations allows multiple experiences on the same url

Leverage Personas to create different experiences. Let's learn how to create multiple page variations.

You will want to have a persona(s) already created so you can create different page variations.

With the Akumina Rail engaged click on Edit Mode

Click on More then Edit Persona Page Variations

By default every page has a All persona assigned to the page.

When creating a variation of a page you have two choices.

1. Create a totally new experience by hitting Add Version

2. Start from the existing page by clicking Copy as new

Add a Version Name for your experience

Add an optional Version Description to explain purpose of the version

Click Create

Click on the ellipsis then click Edit

Build your page as normal.

After hitting Publish  click No when you finish. Stay in page edit mode

Click More > Edit Persona Page Variations

Click on the ellipsis Assign Persona

Select a Persona. Users who belong to the selected Persona have an opportunity to see this page version. If they have more than one Persona that is associated with a page version it will be determined by page priority. Now click Persona Priority

Click Save  once you have decided the order of display of page variations.

In Persona Priority you decide if a user belongs to multiple personas which one should be displayed to the user. Based off the above example. The system will check first does the user belong to the Marketing Persona? If so show the marketing page variation. If not it will check if the user belongs to the IT Persona? If it does IT page variation will be displayed. If a user does not belong to either Personas the user will see the All Persona page experience. You can change the Persona Priority by clicking on the arrows.

Click on the Elipsis then Set as live.

Publish your page.

After this your page variation is live and available to those who have the Persona when they load the page. Users not belonging to a custom experience will see the All default page experience.
